Sorry, I didn't notice the "Right" in your subject line. You need the proper gasket which is a hard plastic washer that fits between the flange of the mirror fitting and the paintwork. If the car has been repainted you may need a tap to chase the paint out of the threads. Your dealer may still have these washers.
