Re: [T3] cross threaded spark plugs

One note on Spark plug angles.

Take this very seriously, I have bought four unviversal Brazilian heads from

autolinea , most people have bought these.
I have found that the spark plug angle was machined at such a excessively
upward angle that the plug socket would hit the intake manifold, this was
three of four. Plug did not seal.
I used these heads anyhow until I broke them (cracked) . I will have
to get these welded and remachined to make the useable. I think my
tight cross threading increased the chance of cracking.

Just a side note I am still in the process of rebuilding my engine,
I had delays getting my parts because of the Sep 11 attack.
I am getting heads from MOFOCO with the extra fins, casted in USA
with 3/4 reach sparkplug. I received one head so far, I find the casting
excellent but some of the machining not as high as I expected but is
acceptable. Has same amount of fins as stock in the normal areas
on other areas ,it has fins where stock did not. Has alot of extra metal
everywhere. I let them know that with some constuctive critisism.

The real test is when I install them and see how well they last at
85 to 90 MPH for an hour every day.
