Do you ever hear the fuel pump relay under the dash click when this happens? Do you have a voltmeter. I'd start checking the resistance thru the trigger points in the bottom half of the distributor. You might also want to clip the voltmeter to the fuel pump relay output and watch that voltage and make sure that it is staying high when you have this trouble. Is there any chance that your fuel overflow hose is broken? If so, and you have driven the car in the rain lately, then your gas tank may be full of water. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
