This weekend I brought my Notch home from the shop and she ran beautiful (all stock now except for the exhaust). I jacked up the front and put the front left on jackstands to work on the master cylinder. I left her like that for about three hours. When I took her off the jack and jackstands, I tried to start her to move her and she would hardly start. I noticed blue smoke (yes, oil I know) coming from the exhaust and major erratic ignition, so I shut her off and noticed that gas and oil were coming from my exhuast. I figured that she was flooded a little bit, so I waited until this morning, but got the same thing. Is it possible that I dumped all of the fuel from the fuel bowls into the cylinders and drowned the spark plugs (hence the gas in my exhaust)? What do you suggest? I didn't notice any gas in my oil, but I did find oil coming out of the tailpipe. Was that because the gas was washing out all of the oil from the cylinders? Jason 68 Notch (Nadine) p.s. Here's how I explained it to my wife: "Nadine (my Notch) got a little drunk last night (she had too much gas), so I couldn't get her to talk or walk straight. It gave her diahrrea and now she's hungover as hell. I'll have to take out her spark plugs and make her throw up a little. She'll feel better later." ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much? Digest! mailto:type3-d-request@vwtype3.org Subj=subscribe
