While browsing through an old 1986 "Hot VWs" magazine I came across an advertisement for a highly modified flat Type3 dashboard made by "Show Kar Specialties" of 3434 Thruxton Avenue, Bakersfield, California. It cost $159. Has anyone seen these rebuilt Type3 dashboards? Does anyone know how they were made and fitted to a Type3? I have scanned the picture shown in their advert.
