RE:[T3] tranny serial number

<I was just under my '66, and checked the tranny serial number. Mine
is:
974413. We already know that our '66's are only a couple thousand
apart
chassis wise, so that should give you an idea as to whether your
tranny is
original, or has been replaced.>

Thanks Russ, it turns out our tranny S/N's are only a couple thou
apart also. Phillip's is 976316. This means mine is original w/
155K. I still don't know about the flywheel diameter, but it's been
said the clearancing is minor, so I'll order a '67 vintage. I'd
prefer to have the original rebuilt locally, but haven't found anyone
<$500. Anyone w/ suggestions in the PDX area?
