One silly question though, there is actually petrol in the tank, right? I have my reasons for asking this that will remain private ;~) Strangely enough, I just happen to have a Beetle fuel sender that is more or less NOS, and I even tested it once in my type 34 (don't ask). Let me know if you are interested. (I also have one or two other Beetle bits that are for sale).
