<x-charset iso-8859-1>Well, yes and no. When I had my air vents out I did replace the screen that was originally installed by the factory in my '64. I used good old hardware store variety aluminum screen.. Just glued it to the plastic piece that sits on top of the box just below the air grill. I then used a new gasket created out of an engine lid seal and put it all back together. So to sort of paraphrase an old song "no sticks, no leaves that you don't need.................." works great and nothing gets in there., but you do have to take the dash apart to fix it correctly. Scoops would just add airflow, not really stop much debris.
