<x-charset iso-8859-1>That is just a thermo switch that turns on the cold start assist when the air temp drops below a certain level, unplugging it will simply permanently prevent the cold start injector from ever injecting any fuel on startup. Unless its REALLY cold it isnt essential. If your having the problems you describe check to makesure your cold start injector and intake air temp sensor plugs arent switched, their connector is the same and the pigtail length is the same, check the numbers on the wires themselves if there still intact.
