RE: [T3] Temp Sensors

I tested both sensors and could not get a consistant reading, meaning there
was a slight variation with each reading, but not by much. The head temp
was incorrect cold, at approx. 3500ohms (X100 scale, disconnected, should be
2500) and it was also incorrect connected with key on. The top sensor was
also reading incorrectly, but I tried so many times, now that I am writing
this I forget the final reading, but it was not correct. I think it was 3.5-
5 ohms and it should be 1.5 to 2.5.
And following the info at the D- jetronic site
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Shop/4123/StrtStop.html
seems to indicate this is a possibility. When the sensor is connected, the
engine starts then stalls immediately.
