How significant are these diferences? There were a LOT of differences between the D and E systems. Check your throttle position switch; if it has 4 pins it is the 70-1 style and we can assume that the rest of your system is still the 71 syle. For that you need a D brain. I don't remember off hand whether the PS should be a C or a D, but it will be the one without the big plastic cap and WITH the 2 vent slots in the adjustment end.
