Is there a specific reason she can't use an autostick?? It is clutchless shifting, And once you put it into 2nd gear, you can just leave it there for around town driving. It is the same ratio as 3rd gear in a manual trans, plus it has to torque converter for starting from a stop. We had several customers that were handycapped that drove autosticks. I am afraid that putting a full automatic into a T-1 would be a very daunting task. Motor mounts would have to be made. Some type of shift linkage, etc. Russ Wolfe russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Green" <rlgreen@industryinet.com> To: <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Monday, May 28, 2001 9:52 AM Subject: [T3] AutoTrany Swap into a Bettle for Handicapped. > It's a little OT but, Any reason I couldn't put a Type 3 auto tranaxle > into a bug.
