Does anyone know what these are for, and if all type 3s should have em? I'm talking about the inch or so wide plastic ring around the housing of the gauges. I assume they are spacers so the gauges sit right when you have a dash pad. My 67 squareback doesn't have them, but my 64 notchback does. Neither car has a dash pad. Just wonderin...
