What I did is use some 2 in. wide masking tape to tape the leading edge lip of the seal back to the window so it would be out of the way. Then you need to angle the popout hinges into the slots [window at approx. 30 degree angle to car] and carefully but firmly push forward and in at the same time (that is, push toward the front of the car while at the same time "closing" the popout). Careful, it's easy to slip and scratch your paint. When the window is seated hold it firmly closed while you have someone get inside the car and install the latch. The masking tape holding the seal back can then be removed and you're done.<< Hope this helps.
