Well, I've torn the fuel pmp apart and it was a bit gunky in there. I cleaned it out and decided to test the motor to see if it worked without the parts on top. The little knob spins around all right, but once I put it back together the pump just does not work. I cleaned the pieces......still no go.....I'm really at my end with this car.....I don't want to give up on her and I know it would be stupid to now that I am soooooo very close, but I really am out of patience if it isn't one thing it's another.....if anybody has any ideas on the pump let me know...just so you know when I put it back together and apply power it doesn't really make any noise, but I see that the motor does work when it's pulled apart. there is no reason to open the motor case right? I haven't done that and as far as I understand the pump I don't have to right?...my dad insists that there must be a rubber diaphram of some kind, but I don't know....I've tested it with gas and nothing!....I'm going nuts here....!!..also I notices on the top of the motor there is a tiny hole close to the spool....does this do anything? Thanks again for all your help guys and sorry if it sounds as though I'm ranting and raving... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
