But the '65 1500 Type 2 engines are included in the Type 3 engine number series. It seems odd they didn't have their own engine number sequence. As I said, what constitutes a Type 3 engine? I wonder if the Type 1 dipstick tube is on these engines? Anyone got a '65 1500 Bus who could check it out? Only curious - not too worried about the result! Dave.
