There's nowhere very close to the USA where these lights could be used. Ira could have brought them over here, but it's not the sort of thing one would normally bring as a present or take on holiday! Similar lights are available new here for about £15 ($20) so there's not much incentive to send them either. Keep them for a Karmann Ghia, which are often exported to us from the USA, as they sell for twice as much as a Type 3 (even in LHD form - more exotic then!). BTW, I wouldn't rate the 4W glow any use when driving. They are not a dim-dip by any stretch of the imagination. Dave.
