If you are measuring this with the crank in the case, you could be measuring movement of a worn thrust surface in the case too. If I remember, .36mm shims are the thickest made. If you have 3 in there already, and you still have too much end play, the case or bearing is already worn. The max end play is .006" (.15mm). New installation should be .0027"-.005" (.07-.13mm).
