Hey all, After a lot of soul searching, and chest pounding, I've decided that I'm in over my head financially on this project, and it's not my time to have a notch.... Someday I may regret this, but I have a 914 to console me for now. As I have a love for VW's and I really can't price out this stuff... I'm willing to let it go free to a good home... You please come and get it! I'll do my best to describe what I have if you have specific questions, but please forgive my ignorance. It was a dream, and a learning project. All I've learned is that I canna handle it at this juncture, and I'm not willing to let her sit there for 5 or more years until I can. I basically got two project cars together. 1 '64 (almost complete, no engine) and one with an IRS pan. The IRS was stripped for body parts and sold off, the other turned out to have major heater-channel rust. List of items: 64 chassis and pan Pan needs replacing on passenger side. Drivers side replaced sometime back needs new battery tray heater channels are shot (I have fastback channels for replacing/welding on) 1 rebuilt transmission (50 miles on it since rebuild, not verified) two sets each of: front fenders (one set with side markers, rust near mirror area) rear fenders doors (one set still attached to chassis) decklids (both in iffy condition, need body work) hoods All seats, rear seat in EXCELLENT condition, with middle arm-rest Windows-all need new rubber 2 front 1 rear 1 set of popouts complete 1 set of popouts, one side damaged Misc. instruments and what not... mirrors, visors, speedo, 2 engine covers, clock, etc. etc. etc. 1st come 1st serve.... Thanks, Carrie 72 914 2.0 (GT lookalike) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
