Well... The Notch is back togeather, full flow and all... but I fully expect to have to bypass the filter later in the motors life to keep some pressure at Idle. If I had to do it all again I wouldnt full flow it... but well see how well it holds up and Jim does get good life out of his. I used RTV to help out the sealing nuts this time, and I also used a gasket on eather side of the washer between the 2 fans and helped it with RTV too... there seemed to be some seaping there. I wont know if it stays dry for a couple weeks as the header and muffler are out to Jet Hot right now. I also made sure no one was looking, pulled down all the shades, and removed the top of both carbs and ..... Removed the choke plates! Vader says you dont need choke but I do need high idle so now I can have my High idle and enjoy it too... At worst Ill add a smaller choke plate so it gets less choke and still ratchets the idle. I felt a rift in the force... and the lights seemed to dim...
