I have had Steve Sandlin from Steve's Lock Shop in Hunstville Texas cut keys from code in my 1985 VW Westfalia. He specialises in VW's and British car locks, and can likely help you. Take a look at his website at http://www.steveslockshop.com I have had good luck with him twice and he is well-regarded on the vanagon.com list. His personal email is vwcarlocks@hotmail.com Jeff 69 notchback (now with no snow on top and progress being made!) 85 westfalia winnipeg canada > Sent: Tuesday, May 08, 2001 5:54 PM > Subject: [T3] please help / lost keys > > > > im lost , i missplaced my keys to my 65 notch > > i removed the ignition, is there any spot were i can > > drill out the tumbler and replace it or re key it > > .what should i do . > > i want to drive my baby. > > liberty, 65 notch/with upright > > > If you have the lock assembly out, there should be a key number stamped into > the tumbler assembly.
