Of course early calipers can be fitted with late pistons. Upgrading to the tandem MC is a good thing to consider, but there are several difficulties: The late reservoir is also "tandem" and the feed lines to the tandem MC is larger in dia. > I told myself that I would try not to do too much cannibalizing of the > Fasty, but I am years away from needing brakes on her and I can send > the Square's calipers and MC out to Jim for a leisurely rebuild in the > meantime. It's a very reasonable thing to do. I have extra early calipers, too. Since I got my "booster pump" going, I should be able to pop open even the most frozen calipers soon. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
