>>>did see Todd Hanson and his Fasty (oh ... and his wife!) =) Ha! It looks like Hal has married me off to my beautiful girlfriend this weekend! The Fastback ran great all the way up from San Jose. It was good to see my friends Hal and Greg again. I thought the entrance fee was too high and the show could have been a little better organized (parking arrangements, awards ceremony, etc.), but we had a good time. So, who's going to Sacramento? Should we caravan from the south? (VW geeks, or >what?) If you see us, say hello! Well, I didn't see Greg anywhere (though I did see his car!), did see Todd Hansen and his Fasty (oh ... and his wife. =) ), a couple of tasty T34s and Notches. There were some occasional T3 bits in the swapmeet area. Quite a few 32PDSIT carbs (though most had singleport manifolds attached), some miscellaneous FI parts, a one-piece fiberglass T3 frontend.. lots of T1 and T2 stuff, and I did run across a set of T4 gauges, oddly enough. Scored some linkage bits and a horn ring for our Fasty, and a broken T1 popout latch (for parts). I really need to stop going to these things when I'm broke... I'll see how the pictures I took came out, maybe Greg can put some of them up on the website. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
