[T3]5 lug wheels question

Phillip,
When I got my 69, it had the early wide five drums on the back.  The
PO said he just swapped the drums.  If this is true, you should be
able
to swap to the 4 lug drums.  Don't throw away the wide five drums!  If
you look in any catalog, they are worth some money.  I have sold mine
to
a buddy for $150 including backplates and all hardware.  I now have
the
CB Performance rear disc kit for beetles on mine.
Check the parts catalogs and see if there is any difference in brake
shoes and brake cylinders for years 65 and 67.  I think this is a
direct
replacement but Jim or Russ may know better.
