If you have the space, time and tools to do the work, manuals (Bentley and Haynes) to refer to, and this list where you can ask questions when you get stuck, then I would highly recommend that you do this yourself. By and large, most of the accessories just unbolt or unscrew. You'll be better off in the long run, as you'll know how all the bits fit together, making future repairs easier.
