Hello everybody!! I got my POR-15 today and I'm excited! Right now I need to get a hold of the body and paint guy so he can tell me what else needs to be done to the car before taking it to the shop. Right now it's a body shell sitting on the pan... there just might be one little rubber wire grommet left somewhere to take off! I plan to send the body and fenders, etc. to him, and restore the pan myself. The only major body part I'm needing for my car is the bootlid or rear trunklid. My car is a 1964 1500S Notchback. Does anybody out there have a good solid bootlid? Complete with restorable script and license light housing would be sweet, but not absolutely necessary. My car is missing the license light but I already found a clean one off a '67 Fasty. I'm not sure if they're directly interchangeable, the only foreseable problem would be the angle of the mounting stud pedestals . There's no "S" script, though :( I'm not looking for a NOS bootlid or perfection or anything, just a good, rust-free foundation to work with. BTW, if I can acquire one, I'll have my old bootlid to get rid of cheap (S&H)! It's in bad shape... but would be great for somebody who is missing theirs and simply needs a putrid red fiberglass/bondo/rust/10% metal panel to cover the hole!! --- Mike T. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
