This problem applies to both my auto and manual 71 squares. I have the radios wired with the usual always hot and switched hot leads. When I start the car every thing is normal. However whenever I brake after backing out of a parking place the radio will cut out. this only hapens the first time. Sometimes it will happen when I turn on the headlights or wipers. Also, I will loose volume when I the engine is going at high speeds. This seems to be a generator problem to me. Is it that the generators need replacement or do they just not give me enough current when in perfect shape. Or am I nuts?
