True. How many do you want, Jim? ;-)
We didn't buy our VWs because they were cheap - we bought them because they
were expensive (and worked properly)! That's why they could charge us
(Brits) over the odds for
below spec models. Quite a lot of the (mainland) European Type 3s are high
spec; they haven't bothered to restore low-spec ones. At least the Type 3
interior mirrors are symmetrical and can be used on LHD or RHD, unlike the
411/412s.
