I'm old enough (40) to have driven several cars with bias ply tyres in my days - quite exciting experience, especially if the car is an old bug with worn out shocks... I had XZX:s on my old «65 Mercedes and they seemed to last forever. The front pair got worn at the "edges" by time - it was a heavy car and I did a lot of "inspirated" cornering... I also once had XZX:s on 14" rims on a 65 bus. Gas shocks and a new 1303S engine. It was (believe it or not) pretty fun to drive!
