That was me Jim. I still haven't gotten the pivot bushings made up, so that project is on hold. The Mercedes bumpers will work fine. Actually, I'll use both the originals and the Mercedes to preload the system like Bill Fisher shows in the "How to hotrod your VW" book. I could have used the overload spring the day I carried 1/2 cubic yard of compost...
