If the brain box was changed, make sure that the Pressure sensor is the
right one for the brain. If I remember right, '73 was different from all the
others. Some one has a link to a list that matched them all up recently.
Also, there is a wire coming out of the injection harness that connects to
the main wire harness in the engine compartment. It is on the left side,
forward of the intake runners. This wire switches the fuel pump from the
start mode to the run mode after the engine starts. It is shown as T-1c on
the first page of the '73 Bentley wiring diagram.
