The OE shocks are of a quality that you just can't match today. Keep them as long as they continue to work. BTW, they either work or they don't (contrary to popular belief they don't get "weak.") When they stop working, they will suddenly have no resistance in one or both dircections. > $79.02 each. If so, that's probably reasonable. Drive on them conservatively for the first month, so they "bond" to the rims. This is just a matter of displacing the rubber lube and letting the bead conform to the shape of the rim. Otherwise they (any tires) can rotate somewhat and make the balance job pointless. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
