No it does not have the stub which surprised me as it sounds like others of
like years did have them.  It just has a plain white stalk with the base the
shape of a spoon.  i didnt tear into it, but there are no screws in sight, i
suppose it could be a snap on one.  i didnt want to tug any harder to pull
the cover back from the headliner.
