I have some mirrors with various broken parts Well, in my car, touching the mirror -- or just driving -- will start the threaded shaft unscrewing from the ball. It then swings down annoyingly. I need to anti-seize or glue the threads somehow. Todd ('66 Fastback) indicated that Fastback and Squareback mirrors have different length shafts to allow for the different views out the rear of the two body styles. Are the part number differentiated like this?
