Pat (Pat@volksclocks) visited me a week ago while on business up here. He got to see my baby (layered in dust :( ) and three very small Type III models (Notch, Fasty and Square). Here's where I bought them: http://www.germanaircooled.tierranet.com/ Type III specific: http://germanaircooled.tierranet.com/brekina.htm It was really neat to meet Pat and talk nothing but Type IIIs and our histories with them and other dubs. Also like to thank Jim for his help on my baby. Turns out the electric fuel pump is fine, just a very low battery. After charging it up and a few sputters and coughs (the last time the engine ran was back in August or September) she ran! So, to clear the cob webs from the tires and blow some of the dust off i.e. any excuse to drive her, I made a quick trip to the store for a quart of milk (hey, I'm a bachelor, that will last me a week or two!). There was some misfiring going on but on the trip home all four were firing. I forgot how loud she is...no way I'm sneaking out of my neighborhood in her!
