[T3] Type 3'er in NM

Thanks for the help with the fuel pump!
Well, I just had a really strong feeling that it wasn't the electrical
system, so I had the pump out and I wired it to the battery in my mom's car
(with the top off of the pump). I heard a click and nothing, (the click was
just the contact of the electricity). So I grabbed some needle nosed pliers
and turned the shaft, and after a little bit of work I worked it loose
(loose as in I could turn it, not loose, loose). So I applied power again
and the thing started spinning and I got some goo out (whatever happens in a
fuel pump after sitting for three years, hehe)... And I cleaned the
gear/bearings that go on top as well as the cover and the rubber gasket and
put it back together loose. I applied power and I could hear the thing
turning beautifully (I dripped a little bit of Mystery Oil Fuel Injector
Cleaner- it had some greasing texture and it is meant for adding to fuel
anyway). So I tightened the screws and applied power again and the thing
sounded nice, I could hear it sucking so I think it is up and running... I
haven't plugged it into my car yet, but I'll see tommorrow! Now if I can
just get that spark plug out of my engine! LOL
Thanks Jim and Marc,
Neil Barney
