I'm not sure that I would manage to fit the Heli-coils myself. Wouldn't I need a drill
press to drill the hole?

If I go for the used parts I would buy a whole beam, but only use those parts that are
damaged on my own front end. Most swedish scrap yards are only interrested in selling
parts for 70s and 80s Volvo, Saab, Ford and Opel. They regard a T3 as "that old car
that you never sell any parts from". This makes a complete front end quite cheap ($50)
and you could never have too many spare parts. I'm not sure my parents agree, since I
store my parts at their house. :-)

I will examine the steering knuckle on the right side today. Let's hope that one is in
better condition!
