Others have sworn that they can feel the difference, but I suspect that these hoses are seldom installed without other work also being done on the brakes, so it is impossible to know just what is responsible for what. It is likely that the Teflon liner in the fancy hoses will last forever, but that's a lot longer than the car is likely to last. To me, it's not worth it, but in the end the decision must be yours. BTW, the after market hoses are not DOT approved.
