Hiya!
I've been meaning to check in for a while, but I have been too busy settling
in.
3 weeks ago I moved to North Hollywood from the Bay area! Quite happy about
that, too. We towed Betabel (my square) without incident behind the Uhaul.
It was scary, however, as we only had 3 inches of clearance at the VW tow
hitch! (It takes 9 hours to drive from S.F. to L.A. at 60 mph, in case
anyone was wondering)
I am hoping that some of you fine type 3 folks live around here. Perhaps a
type 3 club? If not, I would love to start one!
I also want to start the body work/prep soon, to get her painted this fall.
(black with a hint of blue pearl) :-)
Also, a recommendation of a good parts place around here would be groovy. I
know the Orange county ones, but the LA area I am less familiar with.
