Put on the seals now, > or wait? > > The seals are normally fitted with trim glue like "Evostik" (which will mean nothing to you if it doesn't exist in the States), and this will destroy your seals when you remove them. Type 3 seals don't really need much to hold them, unlike Bugs and Busses; an alternative is a few blobs of rtv type sealant, just enough to hold the seal. I used this on my '68, and the only drawback was that the seals pulled off the doors when the doors froze shut in winter.
