Battery to B+ at Voltage Regulator B+ at Regulator to head light switch Head light switch to fuse panel Fuse panel to Ignition switch. With a little thought, and some re-routing, you can get better voltage to the ignition switch. BUT, do not re-route away from the headlight switch, or your headlights will be dim. I think we used to re-route it: Headlight switch to Ignition and fuse box with a "Y" connector. Another choice is to run a new wire directly from the battery to the B+ of the ignition.
