I didn't know that this was dual-diagonal, but that just means that no matter which circuit failed, they are down to ~1/2 effectiveness. My experience with owners who have gone thru half system failures is that they almost always report a total loss of brakes even though they may have a major amount left. I think it's just pretty much human nature to make this assumption when the pedal goes WAY past the usual spot without doing anything. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
