Check your battery voltage after a warmup drive, engine warm, medium RPM. As you give the engine gas, the voltage should ramp up to some maximum and will be regulated there. That voltage is the system regulating voltage which should be 14.1-14.4VDC. If it is less than 13.5V, replace the voltage regulator with a genuine Bosch replacement.
