It is rated at 800 CCA. Strange that they didn't have a 42, as I think this is the same battery that all the type 1/2/3/rabbits/golfs/new beetles used from 67 on. The one you got was probably the 41, which is just a little longer than the 42 and may have been used in the Diesel Rabbits. Some Mercedes used a 45, but the real Mercedes Diesel battery is lots bigger. I think it is more like 18" long!
