While anything is possible, the first thing I would check is to find 
out what they torqued it to the last time. The correct torque is 92 lb-
ft, while the similar bolt on a beetle gets a much lower torque. They 
are likely to have used the beetle figure, if any.

It is hard to torque this bolt sufficiently with the engine in the car.
