The picture shown at: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Shop/4123/Potent.html is of a type-4. Notice the fuel pressure regulator next to the intake runners. It is on the wrong side for a T-3. Those extra wires you have may not been connected in the ECU. What is the number on your ECU?
