also a strange thing that can happen is on the pasenger side if somebody
presses down real hard ie there driving for you and think you should be
braking !!! then this also may push up the revs because of the way the
throttle linkage on rhd cars sits under the carpet on the left side.
a freind of mine who i give a lift to work does it all the time he is a
very big fella and after six or so months of getting lifts is only just
starting to trust the braking ability of my 35 year old car!!
