Well, as I, with my sometimes lousy memory, cant remember what he said, I have to check it out myself by the means of the Vanagon mailing list archives. But with those archives being slow as usual, the server is almost dead and giving no response. So, I have to dig into my memory. As far as I can recall, there were no markings on the glass that showed whether the glass was tempered or not. And by running outside the house to check on the cars, showed the very same thing. My 68 Bug and 73 Variant showed no sign of tempered glass, even though they have diverse markings including DOT. My Audi had "tinted" in addition to the DOT and E-codes, same thing for the neighbours Volvo 245. PerL 73 Variant L ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
