Hey All, I have removed both drive axles from the transmission successfully, and plan on removing the engine this weekend. Sorry my last post was a little confusing. Someone asked why I had to remove the nut on the axle in order to remove the axles from the transmission. Well the answer is, I didn't have too. But I do have to replace or rebuild both swing axles later and the book (still don't have my Bentley) I was looking at had a different type of axle which had to be removed by removing the axle nut I think. Anyway I figured this out after I got the first nut of and started to work on the second nut. It was to much for so I figured that I would just forget about for now and continue pulling the engine. I wrote the list because I just wanted to see if there was some easy magical way to remove the other nut. Thanks for everyone's help, Robert-Memphis ---------------------------------------------------------- 1973 Fastback FI, NORCO Trials Bike. www.geocities.com/trialsin26/home.htm (under renovation) E-mail: Trialsin26@aol.com or Trialsin26@hotmial.com _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
