Anyone has any good ideas on how to remove the 30 mm nut that holds the ball joint to the torsion arm? I both work on my car and on a junk beam and I have the same problem on both. On the junk beam I have used a 150 cm bar and all my weight (80 kg) without undoing that nut. On the car I have used as much force as I dared, without the car falling off the jack stands. One of the ball joints on the junk beam was broken and I simply grinded off that nut. Then I realised that the taper on the joint was rusted to the torsion arm. How do I remove the ball joint from the torsion arm?
